Gilmore Girls Book Tag

With the upcoming revival coming back and also the fact that the UP channel is playing an every Gilmore Girls ever marathon, why not do a tag of one of my favorite shows Gilmore Girls. And yes I am a Gilmore Guy. I wasn’t tagged by anyone, but I thought it would be fun to do. This tag was created by punksandpaperbooks.

Lorelai-A character with a witty or sarcastic sense of humor

Tyrion Lanniseter from A Song of Ice and Fire. As a former hand to King Joffrey, we always knew what to say in the toughest of times, and he always had a good wit about him.

Rory – Your favorite classic

Matilda by Roald Dahl. It was one of the first chapter books I read, and it is of course my favorite classic because I can relate a lot to the character of Matilda and her love for reading.

Luke – A book you secretly love, but are afraid to admit.

I pick Gossip Girl, while most would think of the show, and I know it would be a cliche for me to say this but, the book is better. I was in high school/college when the book came out, and it would be weird as a guy to say that I openly love Gossip Girl, but I do.

Lane – A musical character

I pick August from This Savage Song. He carries around his guitar not just because he loves music but it is also his weapon and how he uses his powers.

Dean- Your first book love (character or book you first loved!)

Hermione Granger, what can I say. I like my ladies smart and bookish.

Sooki – A book you’ve devoured

Champion by Marie Lu, it took an entire bus ride from Boston to Washington DC to read the book from start to finished and I loved it.

Jess- A book you love, that gets the most hate.

Despite what people may think of the story, I actually like the series a lot. I love the characters and how they interacted with each other. The movies, were pretty bad and didn’t follow the book.

Miss Patty – A book that was ruined by the hype

I was told that this was a Harry Potter meets Buffy, and when I finished the book I just felt a very “meh” feeling towards it. But this was a book I felt was way over hyped. I am currently reading Lady Midnight and I like what I am reading so far.

Emily Gilmore – expensive book

While the other Song of Ice and Fire books I bought were paperback, this is the only hard cover and boy it was very expensive compared to the other books.

Paris – An uptight character

Radu, from And I Darken, he was very whiny in the book and very uptight, hopefully like Paris he loosens up in future books.

That is my Gilmore Girls Book Tag. Can’t wait for Gilmore Girls to come out on Friday, in which I will be binge watching.

If you are reading this consider yourself tagged.
