Hello everyone,
Hope you all had a great holiday and are preparing for a great New Year. I also see a lot of other bloggers doing this so I decided to give my Blogging goals for 2017.
I made this blog last year in January in order to talk about books, movies, TV shows and other stuff I like, and with that I made some great connections. It was also a great reading year for me in which I started some great series that I ended up loving and keep finding more and more books to put on my TBR. I hope to give you guys more content to read for 2017.
2017 Blogging goals
–Try to keep a schedule: While I participate in weekly memes like Top 5 Wednesday and Hype or Like Friday. I also want to find time to schedule reviews, tags, awards and other posts.
–More discussion posts: I had a few discussion posts like my How to Fix YA Adaptations. But I want to do more discussions about the book community and other bookish topics.
-Revisit some old favorites: Something I always wanted to do but never having the time is to revisit older series that I love such as; Gossip Girl, The Hunger Games, Uglies and other old favorites. Most will just be how I started the series and if the series still holds up.
-Diversify my reading: My usual go-to genres include Science fiction, fantasy and dystopian. I read a little bit of New Adult thanks to Jillian Quinn’s Corrupt Me. I may try to read more contemporary since I did like Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell.
-Conquer my TBR: I know that may seem like a stretch but I do have an ever growing TBR list that keeps growing thanks to bloggers and when one of your favorite authors announces sequels and new series. I may try to actually read them. I already bought a few thanks to my sister giving me a Barnes and Noble gift card for Christmas along with a new nook. I also have a goal to read at least 60 books in 2017 so wish me luck.
Those are my goals for 2017. What goals do you have for 2017? Let me know in the comments below.
Also I am still doing my giveaway for my anniversary. Leave a comment here. Ask me questions and you will be entered to win. Its for a $25 Amazon gift card.
Great goals! A lot of them are very similar to mine. 😊 Here’s to a great 2017!! 🎊

I really like this idea of making blogging goals! I might have to do this. I’m only new to the blogging community but I’m already loving it. I was wondering how you put your blog out there? How you let people know you have new posts up? And not just the people who are already subscribed but people who don’t know about your blog? I’m so new to all this it’s confusing! I also want to find more book blogs to read and follow but I don’t know how. ❤❤😊😊

Hello, first of all welcome to the blogging community. I would try to link your blog to a twitter account. Also if you have a goodreads account link your blog as well. Also participate in weekly memes, such as Top 5 Wednesday and Hype or Like Friday to make even more connections. Hope that was helpful.

I have given up on the thought of every completing my TBR. For every book I read, I seem to magically add 2 more 😉 But getting organized and scheduling my bost better as well being more diversified with my reading are goals I also hope to accomplish. Best of luck! I hope 2017 is a great year for you 😊

Hmm I have made a lot of reading goals but I haven’t made any blogging goals, such a good idea!

I think my blogging goals mostly became my reading goals, especially by conquering my TBR.

TBR is the hardest for me I get so distracted by all the good book my list just seems to grow. I never seem to make any progress.

Good goals!! I started my blog in July and I know one of my blog resolutions is to not be afraid to write more discussion posts.

Me too. I feel like it will give my blog some more personality, and allow me a place to show what I believe/stand for.
