May TBR

Hello all,

I kinda want to give myself reading goals for the month so I am listing my May TBR. It will hopefully help me with my reading goals and with summer approaching I will have more time to read them and hopefully enjoy them

The Registry by Shannon Stoker

I bought this week a while ago and it was sitting on my nook for a while. I am currently reading it and so far it is good.

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

A Court of Thorns and Roses, surprised me last summer and while her work is very hit or miss. I think the characters are much better developed than in The Throne of Glass series.

Never Never by Brianna R. Shrum

As some of you know, I am a fan of fairy tale retelling or twisted fairy-tales told from a different perspective. This one is the story of Peter Pan told from the point of view of a young Captain Hook. I read the sample and it hooked me in.

Some Boys by Patty Blount

A few weeks ago, one of the Top 5 Wednesday topics was books on hard topics and this book came up a lot. While the subject matter may be triggering (sexual assault), I have heard great things about it.

The Rose Society by Marie Lu

The sequel to the Young Elites, and with how the first book ended, I really want to know what happens next and seeing Adelina’s going further into darkness and how she gets there.

My goal is at least 5 books this month, and if you have any other suggestions let me know.

  1. The Young Elites is on my TBR, I hope to get to it some time in May, but books are piling up and time is limited! 🙂 Also, I need to read the second book in the Throne of Glass series to see if Celaena finally becomes the badass assassin she’s supposed to be.
